Description: “Daylight” is an abstract oil painting completed in 2022, crafted over several weeks with layers ranging from thin to thick. Employing a blend of precise and swift brush strokes, the artwork captures a dynamic sense of motion. The combination of brushes and palette knives lends texture, with distinct marks from each tool visible in the final piece. This painting includes the artist’s initials on the lower right side of the canvas. The painting is also signed and titled on the reverse of the canvas in graphite.
For several years, “Daylight” has adorned the hallway outside our master bedroom home in Aventura, Florida. Despite its modest size, this painting holds a special place as one of my personal favorites.
