Description:  The Eastern Garter Snake is one of the most commonly found snakes in North America.  It was also the first snake I ever encountered in the wild as a young child.  These snakes are fairly common in many of the forests in Southern Ontario.

This painted was completed in studio from a photograph depicting a common garter snake in the leaf litter of forest floor.

The painting comes fully varnished and housed in a walnut wood frame with gold liner and brass nameplate reading “The Garter Snake – Blair Russell”.


Paintings are shipped FREE worldwide by express couriers such as USPS, UPS or Fed Ex.  A tracking number will be provided once your payment has been shipped.

All paintings are packaged extremely well before shipment.  Although most paintings arrive within a few days please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your painting.
