With Weapons of Mass Destruction, I wanted to confront the volatile, destructive forces that can dismantle systems in an instant, translating a sense of high-stakes disruption into a fractured, heavy-hitting composition.
The canvas is a chaotic collision of aggressive textures and sharp color contrasts—deep forest greens, raw industrial blacks, glaring yellows, and muted pinks bleeding together across the surface. Thick impasto and heavily scraped layers build a rugged, uneven topography, giving the fractured blocks and chaotic striations a heavy, tangible weight.
