Toxicology

In this abstract oil painting on paper, I worked with thick impasto layers and bold palette knife strokes to build a tense, vivid landscape of color and texture. Vibrant electric greens, rich purples, and deep blues clash across the surface, cut through by striking streaks of sharp yellow and grounding white. I wanted to capture a sense of volatile energy and structural complexity, where contrasting hues pull against one another in a dense visual composition. Every scraped ridge and layered application reflects my exploration of chemical intensity and visual balance, inviting the viewer to look closer at the friction between these vivid shades.
