Blair Russell is a Canadian-American contemporary abstract artist whose work explores the expressive possibilities of color, texture, movement, and form. A lifelong artist, Russell has devoted decades to the disciplined study and practice of painting, developing a distinctive visual language rooted in intuition, balance, and emotional resonance. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007 and continues to work from his studio in Miami, Florida.
Working exclusively in oil, Russell creates original paintings that range from intimate works on paper to large-scale canvases.
