Cosmic Meadow is an oil on board abstract painting where terrestrial nature and outer space seamlessly collide. In this piece, I wanted to merge the tactile, vibrant energy of an overgrown earthly landscape with the vast, mystical atmosphere of a distant nebula.
The surface is built with thick, expressive impasto strokes, layering rich greens, deep forest shadows, and bursts of bright yellow and soft pink. The upward-reaching vertical strokes mimic blades of grass or wild flora stretching toward the sky, while the dominant cosmic pinks and whites across the upper register create the illusion of a stellar horizon or an alien atmosphere. It is an exploration of growth and energy, capturing a wild landscape as if viewed from another world.”
