I painted Intersection in the space where intention meets instinct. Each stroke marks a crossing point—of movement, emotion, and opposing energies deciding whether to collide or coexist. The reds carry urgency and momentum, while the blues introduce depth and restraint, creating a rhythm between action and reflection. I allowed lines to interrupt and overlap deliberately, because that disruption mirrors how life unfolds: layered, fractured, and alive with tension.
At 54″ x 66″, the scale required my full physical presence. I moved across the surface the way thoughts move through the mind—sudden, angled, and unapologetic. The oil paint preserves those moments of decision, thick where I lingered, thin where I pulled away. This painting is not about resolution, but about acknowledgment. Intersection exists in that charged space where paths cross, meanings shift, and something new is formed.
