Kineticism

I painted this piece to capture the invisible vibrations that hum beneath the surface of a busy mind. By dividing the canvas into three distinct atmospheric zones—the cool, expansive blue of thought; the radiant, energetic yellow of action; and the warm, grounded pink of emotion—I wanted to create a playground for these rhythmic strokes to dance across.

Each mark is a deliberate impulse, a frozen moment of movement that refuses to be still. I chose oil for its physical presence, allowing the texture of the brushwork to mimic the “noise” of a city or the static of a frequency being tuned. For me, this work isn’t about a specific place or thing, but rather the beautiful, chaotic energy of simply being alive and processing a thousand different signals at once.
